On July 1, a delegation from Assumption University of Thailand, led by Assistant Vice President Gao Li, visited Soochow University.
Yao Jianlin, then Vice President of Soochow University, met with the delegation. Yao noted that Thailand was a priority country in Soochow University’s global education cooperation strategy. With a comprehensive disciplinary system and proven experience in internationalized education, Soochow University hoped the two sides could establish targeted cooperation in areas such as study-in-China programs and joint talent cultivation, and reach pragmatic cooperation agreements soon. Gao stated that Assumption University of Thailand attached great importance to its strategic partnership with Soochow University, and expressed willingness to pursue comprehensive cooperation in co-developing a pre-enrollment training program, jointly cultivating talents, and facilitating faculty and student exchanges. The two sides signed the memorandum of understanding during the talks.
